Israel V.P. - Tobi Rosenzweig
Once upon a time, in a far-away land, there lived a beautiful princess. This princess had long blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes and a killer smile. Every prince in the land loved her, but her true love was Israel. Everyday this princess dreamed of the next time she would be going to Israel and when she would be able to visit the windmill at Yemin Moshe. When she realized that she had too many attachments in her kingdom, she decided to do the next best thing: run for Far West USY’s Israel Affairs Vice-President. She won the elections and is now sitting happily in her castle knowing that Israel is not that far away and that she can help to bring Israel closer to Far West.
Hi Far West! My name is Tobi Rosenzweig and I am the 2011-2012 Israel Affairs Vice-President. In case you didn’t notice, I am the princess in the story above. Though I’m not a princess (much to my chagrin) I do love Israel as much as the princess in the story does. Maybe even more. If you were unable to tell, I am very humble and modest (JK I’m really conceited). I’m also very sarcastic. Instead of writing in complete sentences for the rest of this bio, I am just going to include fun facts! Yay fun facts!
- I am 17 and I’m a senior at El Camino Real High School.
- My birthday is June 12, 1994
- I have a little brother and sister: Hanna (15) and Jared (10).
- My favorite color is purple.
- My favorite Disney character is Tinker Bell.
- My favorite 90’s cartoon is Hey Arnold!
- My middle name is Esther.
- I am terrified of needles. One time, the nurses tried to give me a shot, and it took four of them to hold me down.
- I cry in just about every movie. Even Disney movies. Seriously.
- I can’t cook for my life. One time I tried to toast a piece of pita, instead it caught on fire, and we had to get a new toaster.
- I have a dimple on my left cheek. It doesn’t come out when I smile or talk but only if I make a certain face. If you want to see my dimple just come up and ask me.
- I am addicted to coffee. I cannot function in the morning without a cup of coffee first.
- I have a silver Acura MDX.
- I am very big on sleeping. I also really don’t like to wake up in the morning.
- I like to plan out my whole life. Ask me about it sometime!
- I have two dogs: Hayley and Darla. Hayley is a purebred yellow lab and Darla is a lab golden mix.
- I also have a parakeet. His name is Sunshine. My sister named him.
- I am a swimmer. I swim Butterfly. Ya, I’m cool like that.
- I am also a certified lifeguard. So if you know anybody who needs a lifeguard for a pool party, hit me up.
- I went to Israel last summer on Pilgrimage… G4’010 WHADUPP!
- My favorite place in Israel is Yemin Moshe.
- I want to travel the world someday. This summer I am hoping to go to Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia.
- I have a bucket list that I made with my best friend Courtney Kessler. It includes all of the places we want to travel to, all of the weird foods we want to try, and much, much more!
- If you ask me I will show it to you.
- I’m really good at taking pictures, but I’m really bad at uploading them.
- I pretend that I’m organized, but in reality I’m not. I make myself to-do lists and keep an organized notebook of what I need to do and who I need to call. This organization lasts about a month before it disappears.
- I have an obsession with Natalie Portman.
- I love meeting new people, so come up, and introduce yourself sometime!
